Funeeeee

On the way home yesterday Sloan and I were talking about this song we sang at church:

You make everything glorious,
You make everything glorious,
You make everything glorious,
and I am yours......
what does that make me?"

So I was explaining how that meant WE were glorious and how that made me a little uncomfortable to say.

So she says, (with an inner city accent) "You mean like, snap! I'm glorious and I knowit!"

Hilarious!

yes... I think the proper "glorious" perspective for our daughters to have of themselves, only thru Christ, instead of the "goddess" perspective that's invasive! But it is uncomfortable to try to explain... why is that??

I know!! It is a hard concept when one is trying to keep the focus on GOD and not self during worship...

She cracked me up with that though. Rachel and Lauren's amazing ability with accents always impresses me. But I have never heard Sloan do one! Add that particular one took me by surprise!!
