
The dreaded Azalea Caterpillar...
Here's a weird science find today...a little caterpillar guy we found. Actually we found a LOT of them on an Azalea bush. They were MEAN too! They attach to a branch by sharp pincers on their backs. (this guy is actually hanging by his back. They were all attached this way) Plus they had big pincers on their mouth and when provoked with a stick they aggressively struck, bit with their mouth pincers and spit a liquid! YIKES!!!!!

Warning: After Dh did some research, he found that they do major damage to Azaleas by way of defoliating. So go check yours, it must be the season!
