Stuff on a Saturday

Well, here comes the new year. I am glad to have evals out of the way. My evaluator let me do it by email this year and of course emailed me to say she got the stuff but is going out of town and won't be back til' TUESDAY. So I wait. Patiently. Patiently tapping my foot that is.

I mean, she is only taking her 3rd adopted son to his birth Mother's Wedding!!!! I mean, what is more important!???!!! I ask you!

Got me thinking about what is important. Seems that there is lots of talk lately about how we all do things. Whose passionate about what. Whose feeling judged for this that or the other. Who thinks that she thinks that we think that they think that we're/they're doing it wrong. Sheesh.

Who has time for that?

For those of us good at one thing, the other one is better at something else. Can't we all just get along? Hey, isn't there a song like that?

Girls: When you are grown and rearing all my little darlings, remember to do what you love with passion. Don't apologize for it but be gentle with others. Believe in yourself and others. Hope and expect the best. Be forgiving. Never judge. Show mercy because Mom's need it bad. Be Slow to speak and quick to listen. Never put others down for doing something well and never let others make you feel bad for doing something well either.

Women spend far too much time worring about "stuff" and not enough time doing what they ought. Especially me so I better get to it!

They're back and Dh is fixing the stove. So no new one but feeling incredibly blessed by a husband who can fix or build anything. (can build a house, fix the broken plumbing, and make the batteries work in the clicker)

Girls: Your dh's have to be handy enough (like Daddy) to fix it or build it OR wealthy enough to hire it done! Don't get caught inbetween or you'll be in big trouble!
