Heehee, yes Am, yes, the three dreaded words...

But the FUNNIER thing is I am SOOO not a republican...nor am I however a democrat.

You'd think that'd make me an independent.

But my REAL opinion is that politics are a FARCE. And that is a nice word for it in my book. I always sit back and watch everyone and think ARE YOU CRAZY? EVERY side is run by special interests! Their BOTH crooked and yes men to special interest groups. Even those (if there are any, which I doubt) went in with good intentions, people, hello? THe presidency is a titular figurehead. He has no REAL power except his veto and his last day pardon. Lol Congress is normally always the opposite party which uh, makes sense how if you are trying to get things done?

Anyway, I am practically a-plitical at this point. I don't see either side as honest, fresh or well intended. Prostitutes, the lot of them!

Now that may sound a bit cynical! (but it's true)

Jane asked me yesterday while we were listening to the radio..."so is this what politics is, both sides say really mean things about each other?" I said "yes." And she said "shouldn't we just want whoever wins to do a good job?"...and because i am a wise-guy i said "No. We just want our guy to win, we don't care about anything else but our guy winning, that's all that matters"...to which she laughed. Honestly, my kids get my humor, they do.

You be sure to tell her that when she said:

"...shouldn't we just want whoever wins to do a good job?"...

That Miss Stephanie said those were some of the wisest words I have heard spoken lately and that she is absolutely RIGHT.

I know. She says some pretty sensible things for having me as a mom. I gave her credit for it, but I had to make the joke too. I couldn't resist. But I will tell her you said so because it will make her smile huge.

I told my sister what she said and she said "Wow, I never thought of it like that."

I just have to keep the world from polluting her cuteness. Are you thinking "The world? Please, she look who she lives with." I'm kind of thinking it myself.

yep... good intentions are usually corrupted in this world. Lots of things started that way... equal rights included.

smart girl, Am!!

as bad as we know it to be and until the King returns, it's still better than the other ways, and that's part of what we have to remember!

but again... it was simply funny...

Yep, Jane smiled huge when she heard that Miss Steph thought she was wise...and then the other one(Kate) started yelling out "well, did you tell her what I said, did you tell her at least we don't live in Cuba? Castro is a dictator, at least we don't have dictator, did you tell her I said that? Make sure you tell her I said that." I really do love these children. They amuse me all day long.
