What Caused the Economic Crisis?
Well, in a nutshell, THIS. I am not pro-Bush by any means but this really IS what caused the problem. It goes a little quick if you are not really well-versed in all this stuff but someone wrapped it up nicely.

This is what that article that John and I received from the James Madison Institute was about...the collapse of the the subprime mortgages and failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. What I find amazing, is that during the economic crisis, no one touched upon this issue (maybe Fox did, but I honestly don't watch Fox that much)...CNN and MSNBC were quick to agree with pundits and other political figures that the responsibility for the crisis lay solely and squarely on the Bush administration (and not that everything he's done, economically speaking has been great - all will agree)...but not mentioning the factors leading up to the crisis is just plain misleading...
