Kate Trained.

Okay, I got cut off in the video but this is not me displaying Kate's verbal prowess which is MARKEDLY better than this mess, but instead an example of loving training, consistent application, and her unregenerate spirit! God is so good and I am so thankful that as much of a sinner as I am, that I am trying to raise these kids in the power and admonition of the LORD! She'll get there! ANd perhaps it will help her one day to know that she can make it with her own precious arrows! I am feeling better thanks to all my wonderful friends. Thank You! (especially tonight for Steph, Am and Chewhi)

Funny things about this:

1. see her pick something out of her nail and eat it? eeewwwwwww

2. I love how she totally validates my statement in the video to Am of my NOT trying to show off her verbal skills by being totally rude!

3.Note how I release her in the end when she appears stressed. I get down on her level and without expectation say "I love you" and she FEELS the release and begins to laugh.

So...how much do you think I could CHARGE for this???

isn't this the way you feel with the Lord sometimes?? I mean, He's lovingly trying to teach and I just want to fuss out, knowing I should comply.

Great video! You should start a you-tube channel while you write a book!! Of course, that's on the side of doing everything else ;)

I noticed her pick something out of her nail and eat it, at the same time as she was pushing away her perfectly healthy peaches. This video was cute. She is really funny. I bet she was happy to get her macaroni!

This was so cute. My girls were standing behind me when I was watching it and laughing. And I like how you single me out! How dare you! He he. I should have clarified. Okay, now what I would do is I would go out and I try to make my little ones sing songs and say the abc's and basically show off, that kind of stuff. Bad, very bad, but making them say please and thank you is good, very good. But you just go ahead and single me out now! You know I already have a complex and constantly need to explain myself, so before I even saw this post I was thinking "I hope people know what I meant by making your kids talk." By people I meant you. Oh and everyone who reads the blog.
Is that sign language for please, when she touches her chest? Maggie just jibber jabbers now, but I SWEAR there is a pattern to it, so I am convinced she is saying something to me. Anyway, I like the sign launguage thing, if that is in fact what I saw. I think I may try that with Maggie. But I really will not make her sing for people. Unless she is really talented and maybe our ticket to riches!

Oh, I could have just emailed you I guess, but since I came to check for new post I'll just say it while I'm here. I loved the newest edition of LFM.I wish I had it in front of me because there were a couple of really good things I loved.Oh, the kids are just blown away by the fun facts section. Check out Tiffany's blog for a very cute picture of Kate and Hannah reading it. Okay, gotta run, but it was a great issue!
