Well, my tooth is killing me still but my fun appt is tomorrow....so we'll see.
Rach told me she thought of me yesterday in church when "Miss Amy stood up and said, How many of you would rather get a root canal then stand up here and do what I do".
Lol I hope it is not going to be that bad.
I've heard that Dr. Ladley is pretty good from a few different people so I can always hope...after the experience I had with the first guy though, giving Lauren a drill and a knife would most likely do just as well.
I saved the blogging audience the savoring of that story as it was filled with oh so many yummy details of what happened but suffice to say, Jeff will not let me go back.
Sloan had a good time babysitting for a new family Fri and Sat and may do more of the same for them as she did for Am.
But the big news is last night I had an awakening to my first love again...
and got full view of what was happening with the kids. Too much to write, but let's just say, my priorities are re-aligned and though I have "many rivers to cross" I am happy and relieved and at peace that have re-prioritized my relationships with the Lord and the children.
Took me long enough.
I remember that God does not give me more than I can handle so if something is off balance it is my fault not his.
I am blessed with the inability to live in denial which is good most of the time, but also often torturous as I am painfully aware of my shortcomings in all their glory.
I could go on about this but why? I realize that I may have been trying to operate in the wrong circle...which was exhausting and heartbreaking at times...I forgot that I have the most powerful women already on our side: Moms! I am returning to them and am going to promote motherhood, family and marriage in every way I can.
Today is Memorial Day! Hoo-ya? I found myself missing Vero over the last few days for the first time in FOREVER...(Hi Cheryl!)
Rachel has a tea party waiting for me...gotta run...
Shalom Ya'll

Hey!
I'm dreading it but need to go to the dentist too. No insurance though and I'm SURE they'll find something. Rod's tooth broke recently... cha-ching!
