Oh no she di-nt!!
I'd like to be able to say this is the Native Hindi Script that blogger is always trying to convince us to translate to but alas I cannot. It is compliments of my youngest, yet again, proving to herself that yes, this makes Mommy mad.
Is it permanent marker? When I was a kid my mom hung a sheet on my bedroom wall and I could color all over it. I wonder if that would be good for Kate. On one hand it teaches her that it's okay to write on the wall--but on the other hand it would give her a space where she can get it out of her system.
Yep, it's permanent. So should the handprint on her butt be! Lol I don't think I can do the sheet thing...we feel it is a discipline issue. She KNOWS she is not supposed to do this so now it is a matter of will. And as parents, we know that we WILL win. We have to...this is the beginning of everything I speak of. Gain complete authority early on and then it is easy to capture their heart and minister to that.
But I am still SO not happy aobut it because there is no getting it off and that is a LOT of painting to do! THen again....who keeps leaving the marker within her reach? Me. It took me this many times to figure out that I need to take the temptation out of her reach. Duh.
