Well, as I sat here wondering what to type for my first post, I realized that if I got too fussy about writing an eloquent, quippy, fantabulous post, I'd pressure myself right out of keeping it up so I shall wing it!
An important thing I learned recently was to look at your relationships with your children and ask yourself if the relationship you have with them is adversarial or if they knew you were on their side?
What an amazing thought. Especially with such different aged kids.
Discipline is important, vital, but their knowing you're on their side? Priceless.
I am going to make SURE they know I am FOR THEM every step of the way. Even though I know I am, I am going to make sure they know it too...
